Colorado 2009

Bregitt Jiminez was the camp director (voted from New Orleans 2008) and had a fantastic team to bring the deaf youth together again the following year. Word of mouth got around to different people in America and DYUSA made new friends this time around.   The second deaf youth usa gathering happened in Fort Collins, Colorado in June 2009.  This time around the schedule was packed with presenters and workshops for one whole week.  Despite the rainy weather, everyone was ready for social justice to prevail.  During the week, DYUSA designed postcards, created a video, and started a letter to  the World Health Organisation.
